This night cream not only provides hydration thanks to its jojoba oil and sweet almond oil, it also contains 3% of a plant ceramide complex as well as 1% of hyaluronic acid. These two oils, naturally present in the skin, have properties of hydration and firming of the skin. The cream also contains Glycolic Acid extract to target enlarged pores. Glycolic acid is a cosmetic active ingredient of natural origin: this fruit sugar derivative is part of the family of alpha-hydroxy acids (AHA). It is a keratolytic agent that takes off and eliminates dead cells on the surface of the skin, hence its frequent use in exfoliating and peeling treatments. This active ingredient has an excellent ability to penetrate the skin which allows it to promote cell renewal but also to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and pigment spots. Glycolic acid also has a sebum-regulating activity: it helps regulate the level of sebum in the skin, thus limiting the dilation of pores.
